Country singer Megan Moroney was photographed after a fashion-show set with a picture of soccer star Christian Pulisic on her phone, and the image immediately fed fresh dating rumors.
Moroney, 29, performed Sunday at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Afterward she was snapped holding her phone, and the screen showed a photo of her with U.S. men’s national team star Christian Pulisic. USA TODAY reported the detail and tied it to months of public sightings that have kept the pair in the gossip lane.
No one has confirmed a relationship. The phone wallpaper simply added another public data point to a trail that already stretched from Nashville to Miami to Italy.
In July, Moroney and Pulisic were spotted together on the rooftop of a Nashville bar. That same month Pulisic brought his cousin to one of her concerts in Miami. The three of them posed for a photo at the show, and the picture circulated online.
Moroney also told Cosmopolitan in July that she was single. The statement sat beside the bar and concert sightings and did little to quiet the speculation.
Pulisic, 28, plays for AC Milan in Italy and anchors the U.S. men’s national team. Moroney recently toured Europe and made a stop in Italy, where he is based. During that stretch she posted a TikTok in which she appeared to wear a shirt from his Puma collection.
Pulisic’s last public relationship was with pro golfer Alexa Melton. The two went public in 2024. In a May interview with Time he confirmed they had broken up.
Melton had suggested he joined the private dating app Raya before the split was final. She later posted on social media that he was “not a cheater,” walking back the implication without erasing the headlines it created.
That backdrop is why every new Moroney sighting lands with extra weight. A lock-screen photo after a national fashion-show performance is not a press release. It is still the kind of visual that celebrity-watchers treat as evidence.
As of the latest reporting, neither Moroney nor Pulisic has announced a romance. What exists is a pattern: a Nashville rooftop, a Miami concert photo, an Italy stop, a Puma shirt on TikTok, and now a shared photo staring out from her phone after the Victoria’s Secret stage.
Fans and tabloids will keep reading those crumbs until someone confirms or shuts it down. For now the phone screen is doing the talking.
Public figures who leave that much signal in plain view should not act surprised when the audience connects the dots.
