Nicole Kidman’s daughter Sunday Rose has scored a solo German Vogue cover at 18, a rapid fashion rise she openly ties to doors her famous parents already opened.
The high-school-age model fronts the November issue of German Vogue alone, shot in a grassy field in Louis Vuitton, Page Six reported.
Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban is the daughter of actress Nicole Kidman and country singer Keith Urban. She is 18, still in school, and only two years into paid modeling. The solo cover is her latest leap after runway work and major brand campaigns.
She wanted in early. Kidman set a hard line and made her wait.
Sunday Rose said the modeling bug hit at 14. She kept pushing her mother for a green light.
"Ever since I was 14 and had just figured out what it was, I kept nagging my mom about it."
Kidman held the line. The teenager finally started modeling two years ago and hit the catwalk at 16. Her debut came at the Miu Miu spring/summer 2025 show.
From there the bookings stacked up. She has fronted campaigns for houses from Dior to Calvin Klein and walked multiple major runways before the German Vogue cover.
This spring she also walked the 2026 Met Gala red carpet as her mother’s date, another very public step into the industry her parents already inhabit.
Sunday Rose does not pretend she started from zero. She said she knows the access is rare and treats it as a debt she has to repay with effort.
"I’m very aware that I’m given opportunities that not everyone can have, and I’m truly grateful to be able to take advantage of them."
That is cleaner than the usual Hollywood dodge. Plenty of industry children sell the “I earned this alone” line. She did not.
She also described a simple work rule: show up ready, skip the attitude, and respect the crew, even when she is tired or jet-lagged.
"When I’m at work, I make sure to always give my best, never come to work with a negative attitude, no matter how tired or jet-lagged I may be, and treat everyone with respect."
Her first real job still humbled her. She arrived thinking she understood modeling and learned fast that she did not.
"I remember arriving there and thinking I knew so much about modeling, but in reality, I knew nothing at all."
Home life feeds the image too. Sunday Rose said she constantly borrows from Kidman’s wardrobe and that her mother has been generous about it.
Half her clothes, she said, now come from her mom. The long, pin-straight hair look is part of the same polished package she brings to fittings and covers.
Fashion may not be the endgame. On film sets she watched the preview monitor while her sister and friends sat around. The technical side of moviemaking held her attention. She has flagged filmmaking as a longer-term interest.
That tracks with the household she grew up in. Kidman built a global acting career. Urban built one in country music. Their daughter is moving through the same prestige lanes, Vogue, Miu Miu, Dior, the Met Gala, while still finishing high school.
The German Vogue cover freezes that moment: an 18-year-old in Louis Vuitton, already fluent in the family business, and frank about why the elevator rose so fast.
In an industry that runs on last names, saying the quiet part out loud is the rarest look of all.
