Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators have locked in a February album release and a 2027 world tour after unleashing the title track with a stop-motion video.

The hard-rock outfit said the new studio record, Flying Blind, arrives February 26 via Gibson Records, and they rolled out the title track as the first single alongside a stop-motion puppet music video. Consequence reported the band also posted a long run of 2027 dates stretching from South America through North America and on into the U.K. and Europe.

Ticket buyers get an early window first. Pre-sale starts Tuesday, October 6 through Ticketmaster, with the general on-sale set for Friday, October 9.

Riff built in the room became the lead single

Slash said the song did not exist before the band hit pre-production. A riff showed up while they stood in the studio, then came together the same night in rehearsal.

He explained why it led the campaign:

"Created in the studio while we were standing there in pre-production, a riff came to me and started developing. I had nothing of that song prior to those guys coming in, and then we started up a night of rehearsal and played that riff. It came together really quickly. As for it being the first single, you never know what the first single is going to be until you’ve recorded it. When I started thinking about it, ‘Flying Blind’ just seemed to have the right kind of melodic sensibilities and a hook to make it single material."

Myles Kennedy, long known to rock fans as the voice of Alter Bridge and as Slash’s foil in this project, said the opening chords gave him an easy path for the melody. He framed the lyric as a warning about shortcuts.

Kennedy put it this way:

"I really enjoyed putting a melody to this song. The way the chord progression starts in the beginning had a nice flow to it. The lyric is about how sometimes people try to take shortcuts and try to find the easy way to achieve happiness or enlightenment."

The album carries 12 tracks. Coverage of the rollout also nodded to the grit and melodic bite familiar from William DuVall-era Alice in Chains, a comparison that fits Kennedy’s range and the band’s modern hard-rock lane.

South America opens the run, then U.S. theaters and casinos

The 2027 world tour starts in early April in Chile and Argentina before moving through Brazil. Listed stops include Santiago at Teatro Caupolican on April 2, Mendoza, Córdoba, Buenos Aires at Movistar Arena, then Florianópolis, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.

North America kicks off April 23 in Reno, Nevada, at the Grand Theatre at The Grand Sierra Resort. Twin Los Angeles nights follow April 26 and 27 at The Wiltern. Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium, Boston’s Citizens House of Blues, New York’s Beacon Theatre, and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium sit on the May routing.

Other U.S. and Canadian dates hit Rohnert Park and Del Mar in California, Albuquerque, Kansas City, Des Moines, Windsor and Niagara Falls in Ontario, St. Louis, Norman, and a May 22 close in Tulsa at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Slash, the Guns N’ Roses guitarist whose top-hat silhouette still defines arena rock for millions, has kept this Conspirators lineup as his steadiest post-classic-era vehicle with Kennedy out front. The spring rooms mix theaters, ballrooms, and casino halls rather than only stadium blowouts, dense bills for fans who want the new songs and the catalog crunch in one night.

Festivals and halls fill the European summer

Europe and the U.K. pick up in June. Munich’s Zenith on June 7 leads a run that includes Warsaw, Milan, Rome’s Rock In Roma, Düsseldorf, and festival slots at Nova Rock in Nickelsdorf, Austria, and Azkena Rock in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.

U.K. and Ireland dates land late June into early July: Cardiff Castle, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Trinity College in Dublin, Custom House Square in Belfast, Piece Hall in Halifax, and London’s Eventim Apollo on July 7.

Further stops stack through the Netherlands, Czechia, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania, with festival marks on Bospop, Masters of Rock, Hills Of Rock, and Rockstadt Extreme Festival. The posted run reaches July 26 in Ghimbav, Romania.

For a band built on live voltage, the calendar is the real product launch. Album first in February. Then months of stages from São Paulo to London to prove whether Flying Blind sticks with the crowd that still shows up for guitars turned up loud.

Rock acts that still cut new songs, name the rooms, and meet the audience in person are doing the work the streaming era skipped, and fans get to vote with tickets.
