Biles, 29, dropped the revelation casually in a TikTok video posted Monday while shopping for a new car. She told followers she felt she needed a replacement vehicle, then explained why: during her final months living in Chicago, three men wearing masks entered her home and drove off with her Porsche GTS. She offered few details about the break-in itself, no date, no description of how the men got inside, no mention of whether she or Owens were home at the time.
The gymnast framed the theft almost as an aside, telling USA TODAY viewers she would save the full account for a future "storytime" video.
"Feel like I need a new car because during our last few months in Chicago, three men in mask[s] came to our house and stole my Porsche. Stole the GTS."
She added that she and Owens managed to recover the vehicle and were "onto the next." How they recovered it, and whether police played a role, remains unclear. USA TODAY reported reaching out to both Biles' representatives and the Chicago Police Department for comment but received no response from either.
No police report has been publicly confirmed in connection with the alleged theft. No arrests or charges have been announced. The Chicago Police Department has not commented on whether it investigated the incident or assisted in recovering the vehicle.

"They had Cayenne GTS, and, baby, when they turn that thing on, I was sold. I felt like Tiffany Haddish from 'Girls Trip.' 'Give it to me, I want it. Give it to me.' So, we never even made it to Lambo."
The couple had planned to also visit Audi and Lamborghini dealerships. They never got past the Porsche lot.
Biles has been splitting time between multiple cities. Owens plays safety for the Indianapolis Colts, and Biles told People magazine in a September 8 interview that she planned to officially relocate to Indianapolis. She noted she had spent most of her time in Houston, where she and Owens began renovating a mansion in 2020. That renovation was completed last year.
Her description of the break-in happening during "our last few months in Chicago" suggests the couple was already winding down their time in the city when the theft occurred. Whether the incident accelerated their departure is unknown, Biles did not draw that connection directly.
