A newly surfaced photo has revealed former President Bill Clinton dragging along some eyebrow-raising company to a royal wedding in Morocco over two decades ago.

This jaw-dropping story centers on Clinton’s insistence on bringing Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell as his plus-ones to the wedding of Moroccan King Mohammed VI in July 2002, a decision that left his own team stunned and has resurfaced just as the Justice Department faces a deadline to release Epstein-related files, as the New York Post reports.

Let’s rewind to the early 2000s, when Clinton, fresh out of the White House, had already built goodwill in Morocco by attending the funeral of King Hassan II three years prior during his presidency.

Clinton’s Controversial Wedding Invitation

Fast forward to July 2002, and Clinton was headed to Rabat for the king’s wedding celebration following a private ceremony earlier that year between Mohammed VI and Lalla Salma Bennani, whom the king later divorced.

Public reports claimed 1,500 guests, including European and Arab dignitaries, were invited, but sources estimate only about 250 attended this high-society, tightly knit black-tie affair, complete with a formal sit-down dinner.

Here’s the kicker: Clinton didn’t just show up. He arrived on Epstein’s infamous private jet, dubbed the “Lolita Express,” with Maxwell in tow, and even sat with them alongside the king during the dinner.

Staff Pushback and Shocking Decisions

Clinton’s staff, to put it mildly, weren’t thrilled, viewing the move to include Epstein and Maxwell as not just inappropriate but downright rude for such an exclusive event.

“The idea that they would take [Epstein] was a head-scratcher,” a source noted, adding, “But nonetheless, the Clinton office moved forward and made this request … to bring these two guests, and that’s what happened.”

One has to wonder if Clinton missed the memo on wedding etiquette -- bringing uninvited guests to a royal celebration isn’t exactly a hallmark of diplomatic charm, especially when his team had to “insist” and “push” for it.

Family Presence and Lingering Questions

Chelsea Clinton, then a student at Oxford University, also attended independently and insisted on a photo with her father at the event, which notably included Epstein, Maxwell, and Morocco’s former U.N. ambassador, Abdeslam Jaidi.

Hillary Clinton, tied up with Senate duties, couldn’t make the trip, leaving Bill to navigate this peculiar social call with his controversial companions.

Why Clinton chose Epstein and Maxwell remains a mystery, though sources doubt it was just for a free ride across the Atlantic, given Morocco’s reported willingness to roll out the red carpet for him.

Clinton’s Ties and Modern Reflections

Clinton’s office maintains he severed ties with Epstein in 2005, well before Epstein’s 2008 guilty plea to child sex crimes in Florida, and insists Clinton knew nothing of Epstein’s dark deeds during their travels, which included four trips on Epstein’s plane between 2002 and 2003 for Clinton Foundation work.

“I don’t know how many times we need to say there was travel more than 20 years ago before he was cut off,” said Clinton spokesman Angel Ureña, with a dismissive, “Apparently, we need to one more time. But nice try.”

While sources don’t believe Clinton was aware of Epstein’s trafficking of young women at the time, his judgment in cozying up to such figures -- especially in the wake of an impeachment over the Monica Lewinsky scandal -- raises serious questions about discernment, a trait conservatives often find lacking in progressive circles, though we must acknowledge the complexity of human associations before casting final stones.
