Former Good Morning America anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have married in Arkansas, four years after their workplace romance forced them off the network.

A Washington County, Arkansas, marriage license shows T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach wed on Sept. 19 after applying the day before, the county clerk confirmed to USA TODAY.

The license was recorded Oct. 13. People first reported the news. Holmes, 49, and Robach, 53, left ABC in early 2023 after their relationship became public while both were still married to other people.

Holmes was born in West Memphis, about 300 miles east of Washington County. The couple has not publicly detailed the ceremony location.

ABC called the relationship a distraction and removed them

In November 2022, Holmes and Robach were photographed holding hands in public. Intense media scrutiny followed. Both still had spouses at the time.

Robach has said she separated from actor Andrew Shue in summer 2022. Their divorce was reportedly finalized in March 2023. Holmes filed for divorce from Marilee Fiebig in December 2022. He shares daughter Sabine with Fiebig and two children, Brianna and Jaiden, with ex-wife Amy Ferson. Robach has two daughters, Ava and Annalise, with ex-husband Tim McIntosh.

That same December, an ABC News internal memo addressed the pair. The network said the relationship did not violate company policy. It had become something else.

ABC described it this way:

"an internal and an external distraction."

Holmes and Robach were removed from "GMA3." The network ousted them the following month.

They kept the wedding plans quiet

The pair now co-host the "Amy & T.J. Podcast." In a December 2023 episode, they addressed the timeline. They said their prior marriages were nearly over when the relationship started and chose not to answer every allegation so the drama would not grow.

In a May interview, they said they had settled on a wedding date but gave no public details. Holmes spoke about the ceremony they wanted.

Holmes said:

"There is a way we want to get married that we haven't revealed necessarily, but it would be very special to us. We can't say what that is. That's a big thing for us."

USA TODAY reached out to their representative for comment on the marriage license. No response appears in the reporting.

Morning-show stars spent years telling viewers how to live. Then their own private lives collided with the job, the network cut them loose, and the public record now shows a quiet Arkansas license four years later.
