Conservative influencer Cam Higby found himself in a heated clash at Union Station, resorting to pepper spray when a woman allegedly attacked him over his MAGA hat, as the Daily Mail reports.

During a public debate event, Higby, a journalist for Today is America, was confronted by Taylor Forte, leading to an altercation that ended with her arrest by federal police.

On Wednesday evening, around 8 p.m., Higby and his partner, David Khait, were hosting open debates as part of their "Fearless Tour" at Union Station. The scene was set for discussion, not discord, but things took a sharp turn.

Confrontation erupts at public debate

Forte positioned herself between Higby and Khait, seemingly intent on stirring trouble. Her actions quickly escalated from provocation to physical aggression, a textbook case of crossing boundaries.

She reportedly lunged at Higby, attempting to snatch his MAGA hat and then throwing it in his face, causing him to tumble from his chair. If she thought this was a game, she miscalculated -- Higby wasn’t playing.

In response, Higby deployed pepper spray, sending Forte stumbling into a nearby bush. It’s a stark reminder that actions have consequences, especially when you’re picking fights with someone prepared to defend themselves.

Pepper spray use sparks chaos

Forte’s reaction to the spray was anything but composed, as she hurled insults like "Stupid b***!" at Higby. If she aimed to paint herself as a victim, her choice of words did little to help her cause.

Higby, captioning the video of the incident, stated, "A leftist decided...physically attack me." His account frames this as pure self-defense, a position that resonates when you see the footage of Forte’s aggression.

United States Park Police were called to the scene over a reported dispute, and Forte didn’t make their job easy. Resisting arrest, she struggled so fiercely that it took four officers to restrain her and load her into a police car.

Federal police engage in struggle

Even Forte’s father got involved, shouting at Higby and Khait, questioning why his daughter was sprayed. Perhaps he missed the part where she initiated the physical confrontation -- selective outrage seems to be a family trait.

Higby told Fox News Digital, "Her dad is yelling...‘why did you spray my daughter,’ as she's actively fighting with federal police." It’s hard to sympathize when the evidence of her behavior is so clear.

Forte was hit with multiple charges, though specifics weren’t disclosed by officials, and she has since been released from custody. One wonders if a lesson was learned, or if this is just another chapter in a saga of entitlement.

Prior attacks from progressives recalled

Higby later explained to Fox News Digital, "I think I show...incredible restraint." His decision to carry pepper spray stems from past incidents, like being punched at a vigil in Seattle, showing he’s no stranger to hostility from the progressive crowd.

He also noted, "The roles are reversed...I’m overly criticized." It’s a fair point -- had the genders been flipped, the narrative might be less about blame and more about bravery, a classic double standard of the woke playbook.

Forte, meanwhile, took to X with a sarcastic, "Hello it is I!...The LEFTIST ATTACKER." Her attempt at humor falls flat when the video shows her as the instigator, not the martyr she might claim to be.
