A Ryanair spokesperson confirmed the event the following day:
"On landing in Dublin yesterday evening (10 Sept) Ryanair flight FR9457 from Bologna suffered a minor wing tip impact. The aircraft landed safely and all passengers offloaded normally. Our engineers have repaired the wing tip and the aircraft has since gone back into service this morning (11 Sept)."
Ryanair characterized the contact as "minor" and returned the jet to revenue service within roughly twelve hours. Whether the airline's own maintenance team or an independent inspector signed off on the repair is not addressed in available reporting.
Boeing 737s remain the backbone of short- and medium-haul flying worldwide, and individual incidents do not by themselves indict the airframe.
