Disney Cruise Line will launch its newest Wish-class ship, Disney Believe, in late 2027 with seven pools, themed dining, and character shows aimed at families sailing from South Florida.
The Sun reported Disney has laid out what guests will find aboard Disney Believe, the line’s ninth ship and the fourth in the Wish class alongside Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny.
The first sailing is set for December 18, 2027. Four- and five-night trips will leave from South Florida for the Caribbean and The Bahamas, with stops at Disney Castaway Cay and/or Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
That mix of short itineraries, private-island stops, and heavy theming is Disney’s core cruise product: packaged family travel with the brand’s characters built into the ship itself.
Disney Believe will carry seven swimming pools. Most staterooms will have ocean views, and 450 of them interconnect. Four royal suites round out the top end of the cabin list.
The standout lodging is the Believe Tower Suite. It spans two storeys, covers nearly 2,000 square feet, sleeps up to eight people, and includes two main bedrooms plus four and a half bathrooms.
Returning venues already familiar to Wish-class guests include the Haunted Mansion Parlour, Quiet Cove, Senses Spa, Untangled Salon, Hook’s Barbery, and the Arnaud Lallement dining room.
The brand-new restaurant Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast is built around live performance. Oaken, Anna, and Kristoff will deliver renditions of songs from the Frozen soundtrack while guests eat.
Another dining option, 1923, will also sail on sister ships and celebrates Disney animation along with Worlds of Marvel. Inside Out: Joyful Sweets will serve nearly 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream.
New cafes lean hard into recent films. Big Hero Sips draws on San Fransokyo and Big Hero 6. Café Kakamora focuses on Moana. On the upper deck, the open-air Mickey and Friends Festival of Dining will add Pluto’s Pita Platters with Mediterranean-inspired food.
Gazelle is a Zootropolis-inspired entertainment hub. During the day it will host a family show with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.
Adult spaces get their own themes. Sea Notes is a piano lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto. The Wishing Well lounge is centered on a castle courtyard. Skygazers is a new observatory-themed pub.
Kids programming covers a wide age range. Clubs under the 2319 name serve children from 3 to 17. The “it’s a Small World” Nursery offers babysitting for ages six months to three years.
The same reveal also flagged land-side work already in motion. Disneyland Paris is getting a new Lion King log flume and Up-themed Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings. Magic Kingdom at Disney World is set for an entire Villains Land with a Maleficent roller coaster and a Magic Mirror dark ride, plus expansion that includes two new Cars rides and rides tied to Indiana Jones and Encanto.
Disney Wish holidays can already be booked sailing from Southampton, giving British travelers a current entry point while Believe is still years from its first departure.
Disney is betting families will pay for short Caribbean runs packed with pools, character meals, and private-island stops, and that the brand’s catalog is deep enough to fill a fourth Wish-class ship without running dry.
