Jim Carrey has married his girlfriend Min Ah in a private Los Angeles ceremony, his representatives confirmed, after years of keeping their relationship mostly out of public view.
USA TODAY reported that Carrey’s reps confirmed the pair “just recently tied the knot in Los Angeles.” TMZ first broke the news. No exact wedding date or guest list was released.
The 64-year-old comic actor, best known for “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective,” and Min Ah have been linked since at least 2022. They made their public debut as a couple in February 2026.
On Feb. 26, 2026, Carrey accepted an honorary César Award in Paris. Min Ah appeared with him there, alongside his daughter Jane and grandson Jackson.
In a speech covered by EW and People, Carrey thanked his family and called Min Ah his companion.
He said: “Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah.”
"I love you, Min Ah."
Few public details about Min Ah’s background have been shared. The ceremony itself stayed private.
Carrey has been married twice before. He wed former actress and waitress Melissa Womer in 1987; they divorced in 1995. The next year he married his “Dumb and Dumber” costar Lauren Holly. That marriage ended in 1997.
He was engaged to “Me, Myself & Irene” costar Renée Zellweger from 1999 to 2000. He dated Jenny McCarthy from around 2006 to 2010. He has also been romantically linked over the years to Linda Ronstadt, model Anchal Joseph, actress Ginger Gonzaga, and the late makeup artist Cathriona White.
This latest marriage arrives after a long stretch of quieter personal life. Carrey and Min Ah did not stage a media blitz. They did not turn the wedding into a spectacle. Reps confirmed the fact and left it there.
In an industry that often treats private milestones as content, the choice to keep the ceremony closed is notable. Carrey gave the public the confirmation, the city, and little else.
Hollywood thrives on noise. A private vow in Los Angeles is a reminder that not every chapter needs an audience.
