Alina Habba wed Turkish billionaire Turhan Mildon in a reported $10 million New York ceremony packed with top Trump-world officials and Mike Tyson, while the former president stayed away.
Alina Habba, 42, married Turhan Mildon on Saturday at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, The Sun reported, in a celebration that pulled in senior administration figures, a boxing legend, and a Grammy-winning rapper for the after-party.
The fourth-floor ballroom hosted the vows after the couple’s first-choice Plaza Hotel proved unavailable. Two wedding planners from Palm Beach helped pull the event together in about three months.
Habba rose to national notice as Donald Trump’s personal lawyer and later served as acting U.S. attorney for New Jersey. Mildon runs Miller Holding, a Turkish conglomerate his grandfather founded in 1967 with interests in energy, construction, and mining. Coverage has described him as a billionaire.
High-profile guests included FBI Director Kash Patel, Attorney General Todd Blanche, White House aide Margo Martin, and Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon. Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson also attended.
Trump was not there. He spent the day at a college football game in Tennessee.
Habba’s children, Chloe and Luke, were escorted through the Waldorf Astoria lobby shortly before the ceremony. Reports say the marriage is Habba’s third.
Organizers brought in around 900,000 fresh flowers from around the world, including pink and white cherry blossoms and hundreds of red roses. An event planner estimated the ballroom, flowers, and music alone could have run about $1 million, before hotel rooms and other spaces.
The New York Post put the full wedding cost around $10 million. Guests received individual tins of caviar as the first course. A 30-piece band played, and a singer flown in from France performed Charles Aznavour’s “Hier Encore” for the couple’s first dance.
Habba changed into three different dresses during the celebration. At the after-party, rapper Nelly took the stage. Habba’s children reportedly introduced him.
Habba and Mildon reportedly met earlier this year at a Kennedy Center event. They were seen together at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April and spotted again at Executive Branch, a private Washington, D.C. club, during Fourth of July celebrations.
Mildon’s age has drawn conflicting accounts. The New York Post and several other outlets have reported him as 29. The Correspondent, citing British Companies House records, identified him as 25. The discrepancy remains unresolved in the available reporting.
Either way, the Saturday spectacle left little doubt about the couple’s reach. Senior law-enforcement officials, a White House aide, a civil-rights chief at Justice, and Mike Tyson shared the same ballroom while Nelly closed out the night.
Trump’s former lawyer did not host a quiet courthouse errand. She threw a full-scale, high-dollar New York wedding, and the people who showed up said as much about her standing in the movement as the flowers and the caviar.
