Zahara Jolie is now the third child of Brad Pitt to drop his last name after court papers made the change official this week.
The Sun reported that court documents dated Monday signed off the switch from Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie, after she filed earlier this summer.
At 21, Zahara is the latest of the six children Brad Pitt shares with Angelina Jolie to cut the Pitt name from public and legal use. Shiloh had already dropped it. Vivienne followed with her own legal action in July. Only Pax, 23, still carries the surname, according to the reporting.
The court order is blunt. The filing language leaves no room for spin.
"The Petitioner’s name is changed from Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie."
Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt became Vivienne Marcheline Jolie after taking legal steps back in July. Shiloh had already shed the moniker before that. Maddox has filed court papers of his own to drop Pitt. Knox is said to have used only “Jolie” on his high school diploma.
That leaves Pax as the sole holdout still using the full surname, per the same account. Brad Pitt adopted Maddox and Zahara after his romance with Angelina began, later adopted Pax, then welcomed Shiloh and the twins Knox and Vivienne. The couple’s divorce landed in 2019.
A source previously told People the actor has virtually no contact with the adult kids. The same account said his engagement with the younger children has been more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule.

Insiders described Brad as privately “devastated” by the legal action. The Sun said it reached out to representatives for both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for comment.
No public motive appears in the court language quoted. The documents do the work without explanation. Three formal name drops, one more filing, and a diploma that already ran without the father’s name paint a clear pattern after a high-profile divorce.
